Raydelle F. Hayward-McMeeken, 95, of Bellevue passed away Friday, March 14, 2014 at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo.
She was born June 9, 1918 in Toledo, Ohio the daughter of Graydon and Bessie E. (Siefield) Rymers.
Raydelle was a 1936 graduate of Bellevue High School. She was employed as operator and bookkeeper with the former Northern Ohio Telephone Company and a member of First United Methodist Church, Bellevue.
She is survived by three sons, Michael (Leni Mueller) Hayward, Findlay; Graydon "Bud" Hayward, Bellevue; Roger (Cheryl) Hayward, Bowling Green, OH; two daughters, Patricia (Merl) Miller, Bellevue and Mary (Chuck) Miller of Bellevue; grandchildren: Abby Jennings, Greg Hayward, Mark Hayward, Josh Hayward, Dustin Thonen, Heather Hayward, Mandy Root and Carie Sobb and 11 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Ace Hayward in 1988 whom she married October 1, 1939; second husband, Lowell McMeeken whom she married Oct 6, 1991; sisters Marion Smith and Helen Van Rensselaer and grandson, Jeffrey Hayward.
Friends will be received on Sunday, March 16, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue where a funeral service officiated by Rev. Justin Jump, will be held on Monday, March 17, 2014 at 11 a.m.
