Harless Kennedy, 77, of Monroeville, passed away Saturday afternoon, March 15, 2014 at Stein Hospice Care Center.
He was born June 19, 1936 in Coeburn, Virginia to the late Grant and Laura (Bowens) Kennedy.
He proudly served in the United States Air force, and served over seas during the Korean War. He retired from the Ford Motor Company in 1974 after many years of service. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, working on vehicles, watching sports, and sleeping on the couch.
Harless is survived by his three daughters, Cindy (Keith) Cook, Tammy Kennedy Camp, and Tina (Mike) Coan; two sons, Larry Wayne Hancock and Mike Kennedy; twelve grandchildren; his sister Bess Arny; several nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Including his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 47 years Barbara Kennedy in 2013; and five sibling, Grant, Sam, and Mable Kennedy, Minnie Ringley, and Ruby Patterson.
Friends may call Thursday, March 20, 2014 from 12pm until the time of the funeral service at 1pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, Ohio 44870. Burial will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
