David L. Baker, 57, Sandusky, died on Wednesday, February 16, 2011, in the Cleveland Clinic.
He was born on September 20, 1953 in Port Clinton, OH. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He worked as a union journeyman tile layer. He enjoyed shooting pool, and watching NASCAR and football.
David is survived by his parents, Henry and Rose (Johnson) Baker; children, Michele Baker, Kristine "Zippy" Baker, Justin Lawton, and David Baker, Jr., all of Sandusky, and Nichol Baker, Jacksonville, FL; nine grandchildren; sister, Sharon (Richard) Wieber; Vernon, CT; nephews; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jacob Lawton; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Friends may call on Friday, February 18, 2011 from 4- 8 PM in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM in the funeral home.
