Anita F. (Dotson) Blair, age 73, of Norwalk, died peacefully Saturday, March 29, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born September 30, 1940 in Jenkins, KY to the late Clayton and Pauline (Ellison) Dotson.
She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Victory Baptist Church and the Norwalk Eagles. She also enjoyed her computer, games and puzzles. She was known for her wedding cakes at the former Meeks Pastry.
She is survived by her children, Cathy (Mark V.) Rupp of Norwalk, Thomas Alan (Vickie) Blair of Norwalk, and Kimberly (David) Bowser of Greer, SC; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Billy Jo Dotson of Alpharetta, GA, Juanita Johnson of Church Hill, TN, Evelyn Barton of Dublin, VA, James Dotson of Honaker, VA, Donna Barton of Honaker, VA and Sandy Coleman of Cleveland, VA; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. Blair in 1998; and sister, Audrey Sutherland.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at Victory Baptist Church, 132 Gallup Road, Norwalk with Pastor Dan Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
