Helen C. Seitz, 98, of Sandusky died Friday evening, March 28, 2014 in the Providence Care Center, Sandusky following a lengthy illness.
She was born August 8, 1915 in Sandusky and was a graduate of Sandusky High School.
Helen was employed by Key Bank in Sandusky before her retirement. Prior to this she had worked for Bank of Ohio, Western Security Bank and was associated with the former Handbook Publishers, Inc. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, Erie County Historical Society and the Garden Club of Sandusky.
She is survived by her close friends, Helen A. Smith and Lois Sharrah both of Sandusky and other friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Ralph C. and Rose (Bretz) Seitz and one brother Ralph B. (Alice) Seitz.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 5, 2014 in the Grace Episcopal Chapel, 315 Wayne Street, Sandusky with the Rev. Jan Smith Wood officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Episcopal Church, Stein Hospice Service, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky or to Providence Care Center, 2025 Hayes Avenue, Sandusky.
