Carole A. Schnellinger, 71, of Norwalk, Ohio, died Friday, April 04, 2014, in Firelands Regional Medical Center.
She was born March 13, 1943 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Otis C. and Marion E. (Hughes) Allyn and came to this area in 1964 from Bangor, Maine.
She was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Carole enjoyed pro, college and high school sports, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes. She was a devoted mother to her children.
She is survived by her husband, Carl F. Schnellinger, of Norwalk, Ohio, children Daniel C. (Linda) Schnellinger, of Charleston, South Carolina, Allyn R. (Roberta) Schnellinger, of Milan, Ohio, Barry M. (Lisa) Schnellinger of Norwalk, Ohio, and Caryn M. Schnellinger( Kelly Mc Dowell) , of Lawrenceville, Georgia, by 7 grandchildren and by her Aunt Clara Aird, of Danville California.
Friends may call on Monday, April 7, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main St., Norwalk, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, April 7, 2014 at 11:30 A.M. in St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 1322 Settlement Rd., Norwalk, Ohio. Rev. William Pifher will officiate.
