Nancy J. (Burdue) Roberts, 76, of Bellevue and formerly of Sandusky, went home to heaven on Thursday evening, April 3, 2014 at The University of Toledo Medical Center.
She was born in Toledo, Ohio on July 16, 1937.
Nancy lived in the Sandusky area and later moved to Bellevue. She retired from the Lawson / Dairy Mart Company, where she was employed for 36 years.
She loved her family, and especially being grandma to 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Outside of her love for her family, she enjoyed playing video games.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Billy Roberts, of Bellevue; children, Chris (Jim) Dillender, of Norwalk, Roberta (Howard) Tatterie, of Youngstown, Robert (Kristy) Burdue and Theresa (Rick) White, both of Sandusky, and Michael Burdue, of Bellevue; grand children; and great grandchildren, and brother, Richard (Priscilla) Okonske, of New Hampshire.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Louise Okonske; husbands, Kenneth Hemmer and Robert Burdue, Sr.; and her oldest son, Roger Hemmer.
Friends may call Monday, April 7, 2014 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. A brief prayer service will take place at 7 P.M., with Reverend David Snyder officiating.
