Alice B. Edgel, 79, Sandusky, formerly of Lorain, died Sunday, February 13, 2011, at her residence.
She was born on April 1, 1931 in Wheeling, W.VA. She was a member of the Church of St. Peter, Lorain, Knights of St. John, Tops Club, and was a former PTA President, Brownie leader and loved traveling and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Debra (George) Charnock, Sandusky, and Mila (Eddie) Kochheiser, Lorain; eleven grandchildren; and twenty one great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Burley "Pap Pap" Edgel, parents, William and Helen (Charnock) Fritz; sons, Burley, George and Donald; grandson, George William Edgel Jr.; and brothers, William and George.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 P.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. A funeral mass will be held Thursday at 9:30 A.M. in the Church of St. Peter, 3501 Oberlin Ave., Lorain. Rev. Craig Hovanec will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst.
