Mary Kathryn Hobert, 96, residing in Sandusky passed away Thursday morning in Firelands Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
She was born on December 31, 1917 in Bellevue, Ohio to the late Thomas and Ida (Schechtele) Kreough
Mary had formerly worked with the Telephone Company in Bellevue for many years.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Including her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Hobert; two brothers, Lawrence and Clayton Kreough, and two sisters Virginia Salvidge and Irene Kreough.
There will be no visitation. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday April 29, 2014 in St. Mary's Catholic Church 429 Central Ave Sandusky, Ohio. The Rev. Joe Steinbauer will officiate. Inurnment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
The Groff Funeral Home and Crematory in Sandusky are handling the arrangements.
