Ardith K. (Eggleston) Roberts, 95, residing in Sandusky, passed away Wednesday, late morning, April 30, 2014 at The Meadows at Osborn Park after a lengthy illness.
Ardith was born on September 17, 1918 in Norwalk, Ohio to the late Rupert and Elsie (Moll) Eggleston.
Ardith was a graduate from Sandusky High School. She was a homemaker, but also assisted her husband in the family business, Roberts Typewriter Service for many years. Ardith was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church and the former Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Ardith is survived by her daughter, Linda K. (Eugene) Hahl of Sandusky; granddaughter, Kristin (Michael) McLaughlin; great-grandchildren Eric and Erin McLaughlin and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Ardith is preceded in death by her husband, Wade Roberts in 1997 and brother, J.R. Eggleston.
Friends may call on Friday, May 2, 2014 at 10:00 am until time of funeral services at 11:00 am at Meadow Green Memorial Park 2602 Bogart Rd., Huron, Ohio with the Rev. Dr. Robert Bottoms, First Presbyterian Church presiding. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron. Groff Funeral Homes and Crematory are assisting the family with arrangements.
