Steven W. Long, 43, of Norwalk, Ohio, and Louisville, Kentucky, passed away Monday, May 5, 2014, in his home.
He was born January 1, 1971 in Norwalk, Ohio, and attended Norwalk High School.
Steven was a former employee of LEWCO of Sandusky, Ohio, San/Fab (Sandusky Fabrication), and was currently employed at Ford Motor Company, Louisville, Kentucky, where he was a member of UAW Local #862. He enjoyed music, 4-wheeling, and spending time with his friends and family.
Steven is survived by his daughter, Stevie I. Long of Sandusky, Ohio, and by his mother, Patricia J. (Kinney) Long of Norwalk, Ohio. He is also survived by his siblings, Randy J. Angel of Catawba Island, Ohio, David A. (Rebecca) Long of Milan, Ohio, Kimberly A. (Wayne) Towslee of Norwalk, Ohio, Joseph E. (Lori) Long of Norwalk, Ohio, Julie R. (Kenneth) Chill of Monroeville, Ohio, and John C. Long (Lisa Ours) of Norwalk, Ohio, and by several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.
Steven was preceded in death by his father, Ray W. Long in 2013, by his Maternal Grandparents, John and Florence Kinney, by his Paternal Grandparents, Virgin W. and Velma Long, and by his cousin, Steven M. Kinney in 1989.
Friends may call on Thursday, May 8, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Rev. Mark Caskey, Pastor of Milan Friends Church will officiate. Interment will be in Milan Cemetery.
