Evelyn May Ford, 103, of Sandusky, passed away November 5, 2013 at Parkvue Healthcare Center.
She was born May 10, 1910 in Lakewood, Ohio to the late Francis A. Brady and Ruth E. (Wanromaker) Gordon.
Evelyn was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She loved reading and enjoyed playing Bingo.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (George) Weisenbach of Middle Bass Island; sons, Thomas C. (Linda) of St. Louis, MO and Richard A. (Debbie) Ford of Van Wert, OH; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Including her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 72 years, Robert P. Ford and her sister, Thelma (Bill) Haas.
Evelyn has been a bright light in the lives of all who knew her, her love was unconditional and complete, she will be deeply missed.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 11 AM at Middle Bass Cemetery, on Middle Bass Island. Groff Funeral Homes and Crematory are assisting the family with arrangements.
