Ingeborg M. Diehr, 89, of Bellevue passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at the Willows at Bellevue.
She was born August 26, 1924 in Cologne, Germany the daughter of Max and Annemary (Falkenberg) Fischer.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Bellevue and was very active in Bible Study. She enjoyed trips to Amish Country, gardening and drawing. She also enjoyed writing and wrote her own book "No Longer Alien".
She is survived by her husband, Elmer Diehr, whom she married, January 10, 1948 in Bellevue; Five children: Laura (Eric) Scagnetti, Leona (David) Trivett, Les (Sheryl) Diehr, Lisa (Marty) Tucker, and Leah (Dr. Rob) Coll; 10 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and one sister.
Friends will be received on Sunday, May 11, 2014 from 4-7 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue where a funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery.
