Harriett R. Macki, age 88, of Huron, passed away Saturday morning, May 10, 2014, at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.
She was born August 22, 1925, in Howell, MI, to the late Harry and Helma (Veith) Pettibone. She married William Macki on February 22, 1949, and he preceded her in death on March 10, 1995. Also preceding her in death was her daughter, Cheryl Macki-Browning and numerous furry, four legged friends.
Survivors include her children, Karen (Howard) Bluhm, Bowling Green, Eric (Pat) Macki, San Lorenzo, CA, and Janis Macki, Castalia; son in-law John Browning, Naples, FL, two grandchildren Brian (Betsy) Bluhm and Andrea (Matthew) Myers; and two great grandchildren Carter and Kenton.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday, May 12, 2014, at Ransom Funeral Home, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia and from 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 13,2014, until time of services at 11:00 AM at Grace Lutheran Church, 203 S. Washington St., Castalia. Rev. Kathleen Suggitt will officiate. Burial will be in Castalia Cemetery at a later date.
