H. Jene Cronk, 90, of Norwalk, Ohio died Wednesday evening, February 16, 2011 in the Norwalk Memorial Home. She was born September 23, 1920 in Galion, Ohio to Marion (Boehun) and Perry Arthur Frank. She moved to Sandusky and graduated from Sandusky High School in 1938. Jene moved to Norwalk in 1965 and was employed at the Norwalk Truck Line and then Midway Trucking, Monroeville until her retirement in 1985. She volunteered for the American Red Cross Mobile, taking blood donors to The Cleveland Clinic for open heart surgeries, and later she worked the blood drives. She also was a 30 year volunteer at FTMC Auxiliary. Jene was an avid golfer, who participated in two leagues at Thunderbird Hills Golf Course, Huron, Ohio. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Dian and David Lamb of San Antonio, Texas, and her son and daughter-in-law: David and Vicki Cronk of Norwalk, Ohio, one sister: Marilyn Canada of Sandusky, four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: Perry & Marion (Boehun) Frank and one brother: Robert Frank in 2001. There will be no visitation. Memorial services will be held at a later date at Grace Episcopal Church, Sandusky. Inurnment will be in the Grace Episcopal Columbarium.
