Gail Marie (Yeckle) Williams, 67, residing in Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly late Monday night, May 19, 2014 at Firelands Regional Medical Center.
Gail was born on February 12, 1947 in Sandusky, OH to the late Frank and Maude A. (Dunham) Yeckle.
She was employed at G & C Foundry for over 15 years. Gail was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, crafts, shopping, gardening, tennis, traveling, going for walks, bird watching and spending time with family.
Gail is survived by her husband of 47 years, Charles R. Williams; daughter, Michelle Williams; brothers Gilbert (Shelley) and David Yeckle and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
In addition to her parents, Gail is preceded in death by her brothers, Julius and Kenneth Yeckle.
Friends may call on Thursday, May 22, 2014 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 2:00 pm at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Joe Steinbauer presiding. Burial will follow in Castalia Cemetery, Castalia, OH.
