Linda L. Ridgeway, 71, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away, early Thursday morning, May 22, 2014 in the Stein Hospice Care Center.
She was born November 11, 1942 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, to the late William E. and Sarah Virginia Aurillia (Kenisell) Lewis and came to this area in 1962 from Adena, Ohio.
Linda was a former employee of Wappler Instrument Company and Epic Technology, both of Norwalk, Ohio. She was a member of Eagles Aerie #711 Auxiliary and enjoyed fishing, sewing, and bowled in several area bowling leagues.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Lona A. Ridgeway of Norwalk, Ohio, by two grandchildren, and one great granddaughter. She is also survived by her brothers, Hank Lewis of Pinellas Park, Florida, and Herbert Lewis also of Florida, and by her sisters, Eula McGuckin of Norwalk, Ohio and Virginia Truskolaski of Canton, Ohio.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Ridgeway in 1993, by her son, John L. Ridgeway, Jr. in 2006, and by her brother, William E. Lewis Jr..
Friends may call on Friday, May 23, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio where funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 1:00 p.m.. Rev. Brian Oglesbee will officiate. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
