Jeremiah Martin Meacham, 25, of Norwalk passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014 in Port Charlotte, Florida.
He was born on December 24, 1988 in Norwalk, Ohio the son of Philip Martin "Marty" Meacham and Maureen (Gfell) Hafner.
He was baptized at St. John's Lutheran Church, Bellevue where he was a member. He was also a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Norwalk. He worked as a welder and also did concrete finish work.
Jeremiah is survived by his mother, Maureen Hafner of Norwalk; brothers: Matthew Meacham of Bellevue, Isaiah Meacham of Bellevue, and Brandon Hafner of Norwalk; grandmothers, Loretta Meacham of Bellevue and Elaine Gfell of Norwalk; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Marty Meacham; brother, Zecheriah Meacham; and grandfathers, Philip Meacham and Richard "Dick" Gfell.
Friends will be received on Friday, May 30, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. A committal service in memory of Jeremiah and his grandfather, Phil, officiated by Rev. Juli Lejman-Guy will be on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. at Bellevue Cemetery.
