Marjorie Claudette (Meyers) Mason, 79, residing in Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon, May 27, 2014 at the Cleveland Clinic.
Marjorie was born on March 7, 1935 in Toledo, OH to the late Arnold and Theone (White) Meyers.
Marjorie is a 1954 graduate from Waite High School. Marjorie was a wonderful homemaker for many years. She later worked at Firelands Hospital for 10 years, Wal-Mart for 12 years and most recently at Sam's Club as a friendly greeter for the past year. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, crocheting, going to the casino, shopping, dogs and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.
Marjorie is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Glenn Mason, whom she married on January 1, 1956. She is also survived by her children, Gale (Mark) Lapp, Jack Mason, Jill (Jeff) Jarrett and Jeff (Tammy) Mason; 15 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Friends may call on Friday, May 30, 2014 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Funeral services will be held on Friday evening at 7:00 pm in the funeral home with Rev. Melvyn Sayler presiding.
