He was born on October 21, 1946 in Bristol, Connecticut to the late Anthony J. and Catherine M. (Salus) Persky.
He graduated from Sandusky High School in 1964.
Frank was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He worked for GM for over 30 years.
Dedicated to his family, he never missed one of his grandchildren's sporting events. He will forever be remembered as a man of family, and his incredible sense of humor will be missed.
Frank is survived by his daughter, Christina R. (Ron) Witter; grandchildren, Jenna, Grant, and Reid; brothers, Richard and Robert (Betsy) Persky; former step-daughters, Toni Majer, and her son, Landon, and Lynn Howell, and her daughter, Alex; several nieces and nephews; and Dave and Ruth Witter, who were "in-laws" but best friends to the end.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Marjorie.
At Frank's request, there will be no visitation and cremation will take place. Private services will be held at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, with Deacon Jack Busam officiating. Burial will be in Scott Cemetery, Huron, where the American Legion Post 83 Color Guard will provide military honors.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Stein Hospice Service, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870. The family would like to give a special thank you to the entire Stein Hospice organization for their wonderful care through this process.
