Jo Ann Laslea, 62, of Huron, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 in Parkvue Healthcare Center.
She was born on May 3, 1952 in Willard, OH.
Jo Ann was a registered nurse, working for Favorite Nurses in Westlake.
She loved her cats, going to Las Vegas, reading books, the water, joking with family and friends, and the Cleveland Cavaliers and Indians. Most importantly, she loved her family, spending as much time with them as she could.
She is survived by her daughter, Dannielle (John Jobe) Hollingshed, of Sandusky; son, Dale (Sheila Rowe) Slater, Jr., of Willard; grandchildren, Katelin, Alexis, Savannah, Jared, Jaden, and Keagan; great-grandchildren, Jermaine, Jr., Ava, Jayce, and Alina; nieces, Sheri Tackett and Michelle Rowe; and several other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Wanda (Holmes) Laslea; and a brother, John "Butch" Laslea.
Friends may call on Sunday, June 1, 2014 from 1 P.M. until time of funeral services at 3 P.M. at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jo Ann's name may be made to the family.
