Rosa M. Ritzenthaler, 77, of Sandusky, died Friday, May 30, 2014, in Stein Hospice Care Center, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on July 14, 1936 in Hungary.
Rosa was employed by Castalia Trout Farm and retired from Sandusky Plastics.
She was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, and enjoyed cooking, watching the Food Network, Lifetime Movies, crocheting, and most of all, having a good time with family.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Thomas B. Ritzenthaler, Sr.; sons, James Ritzenthaler, Joe (Deb) Ritzenthaler and Thomas (Lauren) Ritzenthaler, Jr. , all of Sandusky; grandchildren; Kelly (Jeremy) Green, Jason Ritzenthaler, Bianca Ritzenthaler, Ana Ritzenthaler, Rayce Ritzenthaler and Carlee Richardson; great-grandchildren, Erin, Hayle, Alexis, Zoey, and Rowdy; sisters, Anna Morie, Gross Isle, MI and Marianne Will, Mitgenfeld, Germany; brother, Ladislaus Sladek, Mitgenfeld, Germany; several other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Ana (Christ) Sladek; a daughter and two sons in infancy; twin brother, Joseph Sladek; brother, Hans Sladek; and a sister, Maria Karayenes.
Friends may call on Tuesday, June 3, 2014, from 4-8 P.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 10 A.M. in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Rev. Eric Mueller will officiate.
