Quentin G. Howard, 72, of Norwalk, Ohio, went to be with the Lord, Thursday evening, June 12, 2014 in Fisher-Titus Medical Center.
He was born July 29, 1941 in Pikeville, Kentucky to the late Leonard B. and Shirley (Sturgill) Howard and came to this area in 1965 from Kentucky.
Quentin was a member of Victory Baptist Church, Norwalk, Ohio, and retired from the Ford Motor Company in 1995. He enjoyed detailing cars, playing drums, and especially enjoyed going to church, and his church family.
Quentin is survived by his wife of 22 years, Gloria S. (Wargo) Howard of Norwalk, Ohio, by his children, Quentin David and Tina M. Howard of Bellevue, Ohio, Donna R. Ford of Bucyrus, Ohio, Christopher D. Howard of Charleston, South Carolina, and by his step son, Jeffrey and Sheri Kinney of Olena, Ohio, 9 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother and sister in law, Douglas and Connie Howard of San Antonio, Texas.
Friends may call on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Rev. Dan Johnson, Pastor of Victory Baptist Church will officiate.
