Ruth N. Boulis, 96, of Sandusky died Saturday evening, June 28, 2014 in The Meadows at Osborn Park following a lengthy illness.
She was born October 25, 1917 in North Judson, Indiana and was a 1935 graduate of Findlay High School, Findlay, Ohio.
Ruth had lived in the Sandusky area for the past 72 years. She was an active member of First Christian Church, Sandusky and her hobbies included playing the organ, playing cards and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by three children, Richard (Helen) Boulis of Chillicothe, Ohio; Duane (Della) Boulis and Deanna (Alfred) Streng, both of Sandusky; eleven grandchildren, Dennis, Stephen, Jeanette, Donald, Scott, Michelle, Chad, Amber, Aaron, Christopher and Lauren; 26 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. Boulis in 1993, her parents, George & Edna (Grirismore) Sands; four brothers, one sister, and one daughter-in-law, Karen S. Boulis in 1989.
Friends may call Saturday, July 5, 2014 from 9:30 AM until time of funeral service at 10:30 AM in the First Christian Church, 3410 Hayes Avenue, Sandusky. Pastor Don Spurlock will officiate. Entombment will be in the Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church.
