Gary R. Acierni, 63, of Sandusky, went on his eternal fishing trip on Saturday, July 12, 2014, in Stein Hospice Care Center.
He was born on March 21, 1951 in Alliance, OH.
Gary was a charter captain for his company, Eye On Charters, and also worked for Marketing Imagers, and WPCZ radio in advertising.
Gary organized charters for the wounded warriors, and was a member of various fishing clubs. He was a real comedian, and one of his favorite sayings was "Oh Yeah".
He is survived by his wife, Jackie (Keller) Acierni; his family, Kozmo, Zorro, and Zipurr; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Tim and Lorrie Fantozz, Sandusky, Vickie and Randy Gundlach, Florida, and Barry Keller, Sandusky; nieces and nephews, all of Cincinnati, OH; and his boating friends, Geno, Brian, and Ralph.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Thelma Acierni; brother, Ron Acierni; and his grandmother, Maria.
A private service will be held.
