Charles A. Andres, 86, of Sandusky, died Sunday, July 13, 2014, in the Lutheran Memorial Home.
He was born on October 20, 1927 in Sandusky, and was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Charles retired from Union Chain after 30 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" (Worosher) Andres, to whom he was married 66 years; children, Robin Fearing and Timothy (Kris) Andres, both of Sandusky, and Marianne (John) Edwards, Big Springs, TX; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dwayne Andres, Sandusky.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Verna Andres; son, Mark Andres; and two brothers.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2014, at 11 A.M. in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron. Pastor Peter Dodd will officiate. The American Legion Post 83 Color Guard will provide military honors.
