Donald Ruffing, age 82, of Bellevue passed away Thursday, July 17, 2014 at the Willows at Bellevue.
He was born May 30, 1932 in Lyme Township the son of Alfred, Sr. and Sophia Amelia (Miller) Ruffing.
Don was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Bellevue and the Operating Engineers Union. He enjoyed reading, traveling, photography, history and genealogy.
He is survived by his brothers, Myron "Mike" Ruffing of Bellevue, Alfred (Maria) Ruffing Jr. of Lawrenceville, GA; sisters, Rosemary Taylor of Tiffin, and Janette C. (Richard) Schmidt of Bucyrus.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Elizabeth Ruffing.
Friends will be received from 9- 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. A funeral Mass will begin on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center Street, Bellevue.
