Donald E. Clark, 71, residing in Sandusky, passed away early Friday morning, July 25, 2014 at his son's residence after a lengthy illness.
Donald was born on October 25, 1942 in Sandusky, OH to the late Donald H. and Marie (Watters) Clark.
Donald was a Veteran of the U.S. National Guard and the Ohio Army Reserves. He was employed at Lear Corporation for 18 years before retiring in 2008. Donald was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed bowling, fishing, classic cars following Cleveland sports, always good for telling a joke and spending time with his family and friends.
Donald is survived by his sons, Donald E. Clark Jr. of Colorado, William H. (Mary) Clark of Sandusky and Michael J. Clark of Norwalk; three grandchildren; twin sisters, Joan Schonehardt of Mansfield and Jean Withrow of Twinsburg; brother, Charles Richard Clark of Sandusky and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, Donald is preceded in death by wife, Darlene M. (Armstrong) Clark in 1996; sisters, Susan Miller and Virginia Neff, and brother, David E. Clark.
Friends may call on Monday, July 28, 2014 from 11:00 am until the time of services at 1:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky with Rev. Matt Frisbee, of St. Mary's Church officiating. Burial will take follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron, OH.
