Agatha I. Dailey, 88, of Monroeville died Wednesday, August 6, 2014 in the Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky following a brief illness.
She was born December 1, 1925 in Garrison, Kentucky and had lived in this area most of her life.
Agatha retired after 40 years from the former American Crayon Company and had been an avid bowler.
She is survived by one son, Richard H. "Butch" Dailey, Jr., daughter in law Lea of Monroeville; two grandchildren, Dr. Med. Daniel R. Dailey and DDM. Michelle Dailey both of Austria; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Howard "Chip" Dailey, Sr.; her parents George W. and Edith (Edington) Smith; four brothers, three step brothers, and two step sisters.
Friends may call Sunday, August 10, 2014 from 3-5:00 PM at the Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe Street, Monroeville, where funeral services will be held on Monday, August 11, 2014 at 10:00 AM. The Rev. Dr. Wayne Chasney will officiate. Burial will be in the Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
