Mary Jane Schneider, 86, of Bellevue, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Orchard Grove.
She was born December 18, 1927, the daughter of Joseph and Marie (Kramer) Soisson.
Mary Jane married Edwin Schneider on September 7, 1949 in Norwalk, OH. He preceded her in death in 1999. She was a member of Four Co. Young-at-Heart, former member of St. Michaels Altar Rosary Society. Mary Jane was a homemaker and farmer's wife for over 50 years. She loved to paint, crochet, sew, quilt, play cards and watch sports.
She is survived by two sons, Charles (Ann) Schneider, Bellevue; Lawrence (Susan) Schneider, E. Liverpool, OH; three daughters, Elaine (Larry) Gill, Berlin Hts, OH; Karen (Tim) Snyder, Bellevue and Roseann (Rick) Hopkins, Sandusky, OH. Ten Grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Eileen Simon, Monroeville, OH and Carol Comyns, Norwalk, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edwin; her brothers, Robert and Paul Soisson; sisters, Esther Myers and Marge Hite.
Friends will be received on Sunday, August 10, 2014 from 2-8pm at the Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, OH 44811 where the wake service recited at 1:30pm. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, August 11, 2014 at 11:00am at the Immaculate Conception Church, 231 East Center Street, Bellevue, OH 44811. Burial will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery, Bellevue.
