Albert "Joe" Daughtry 83, Sandusky, died Wednesday evening, March 2, 2011, in Providence Care Center.
He was born on March 22, 1927 in Akron, OH and was a U.S. Marine veteran. He was employed by the former New Departure Hyatt retiring in 1992.
He is survived by his son, Kevin (Jean) Daughtry, Pittsburgh, PA; daughter, Kelley (Lance) Boesch, Sandusky; and grandchildren, Katelyn Daughtry, Brandon Boesch and Courtney Boesch. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn A. Daughtry; parents, Albert and Ola (Scruggs) Daughtry; and a son, Timothy Daughtry.
There will be no visitation. Private family services will be conducted. Memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice Service, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870. Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, is assisting the family with arrangements.
