Agnes M. Hacker, 97, residing in Sandusky, passed away early Saturday morning, August 16, 2014, at Providence Care Centers after a brief illness.
Agnes was born on March 4, 1917 in Margaretta Township, OH to the late David and Elnora (Kromer) Hacker.
Agnes was a 1935 graduate of St. Mary's High School. She was employed in the office of the Sears Store in Sandusky for 25 years, retiring in 1980. Agnes was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sandusky.
Agnes is survived by her sisters, Mary Faber of Sandusky and Dorothy (Robert) Hamrich of Beachwood, OH; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Agnes is preceded in death by her brothers, David and Edmund Hacker.
Friends may call on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 from 9:00 am until a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 429 Central Ave., Sandusky, OH 44870 with Fr. Joe Steinbauer presiding. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky, OH. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
