Lucille Jeanette (Castile) Jackson King

Lucille Jeanette (Castile) Jackson King, 72, of Sandusky, went home to be with her heavenly father on Friday, August 15, 2014 in Providence Care Center.

She was born on January 1, 1942 in Laurel, MS, to the late Mary Tatum and James Castile, and graduated from Sandusky High School in 1960.

Lucille loved life. She loved to dance, cook, listen to music, working on word search games, and being around family and friends. Lucille always had something funny to say.

Cherishing her memories are her daughters, Bernice Jackson, Cynthia Jackson, Diane Jackson, all of Columbus, OH, Kim Jackson, Toledo, OH, and Johnnie Mae Jackson of Sandusky; sister, Earnsteen (James) Davis, Sandusky; sixteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Charles, Jessie, and Samuel; and sisters, Helen Mae Paden and Dorothy Register.

Friends may call on Wednesday, August 20, 2014, from 11 A.M. until time of funeral services at 1 P.M. in Porter's Memorial C.M.E. Church, 1722 Third St., Sandusky. Rev. Ian Gibson will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
