Cecilia W. Roth, 83, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away Friday, August 15, 2014 in the Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, Ohio.
She was born October 4, 1930 in Lemon, South Dakota, to the late Miles and Julia (Fitzgerald) Foster, and came to this area in 1948 from Chicago, Illinois.
Cecilia had worked at the W.T. Grant store, Gaymont Nursing Home, Moravian Villa, Twilight Gardens Home, and Memorial Hospital in Sandusky, Ohio. Cecilia enjoyed bowling, playing bingo, needlework, and gardening.
She is survived by her children, Robert R. (Maryann) Roth, of Vero Beach, Florida, Anthony S. (Jill) Roth, of Norwalk, Ohio, Christopher A. Roth, of Norwalk, Ohio, and Robin Leimbach, of Vermilion, Ohio. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
Cecilia was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Roth in 2005, by her daughter, Judith Renee Roth in 1974, by her brothers, Richard Foster, in 2008, Allan Foster, in 2002, and Bernard Foster in 1946.
Friends may call on Friday, August 22, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main St., Norwalk, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Rev. Joe Grof Associate Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, Norwalk, Ohio, will officiate. Interment will be in Meadowgreen Memorial Park, Huron, Ohio.
