Miriam I. (Herold) Hawk, 57, of Scottdale, Pennsylvania, passed away Monday, August 25, 2014 in the Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, Ohio.
She was born July 17, 1957 in Norwalk, Ohio, was a 1975 graduate of Western Reserve and E.H.O.V.E. Joint Vocational School, and moved to Scottdale, Pennsylvania in 1999.
Miriam was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Scottdale, Pennsylvania, where she was a member of the Women's Ministry. She was an employee of Walmart in Connellsville, Pennsylvania, and was a former employee of the Norwalk Walmart, Wendy's in Bellevue, Ohio, the Willard YMCA Restaurant, and Bluffton College, Bluffton, Ohio. Miriam enjoyed cooking and baking, vegetable and flower gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, and especially enjoyed her two Yorkie's.
She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Lawrence "Larry" R. Hawk of Scottdale, Pennsylvania, by her son, Joseph D. Albright of Willard, Ohio, by her daughter, Janet I. (Samuel) Brauen of Bluffton, Ohio, by her parents, Robert C. and Helen E. (Hite) Herold of New London, Ohio, by her grandchildren, Cloey Albright, Paige Albright, Payton Albright, Logan Albright, Wesley Brauen, Jackson Brauen, Kale Brauen, and Julia Brauen, and by her brother, Robert L. Herold of New London, Ohio.
Friends may call on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio, where funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 28,2 014 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Robert Hudberg, Pastor of The Foundation Church, Norwalk, Ohio, will officiate. Interment will be in Hartland Ridge Cemetery.
