William Magrum, Sr. age 86 of Gibsonburg passed away Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014 at Bellevue Hospital.
He was born Jan. 13, 1928 in Gibsonburg the son of the late Walter & Rose (Hammer) Magrum.
William was employed by Pfizer Lime Plant and Whirlpool Corp. He served in the US Army during WWII.
He enjoyed weightlifting, dancing and movies.
Survivors include his sons; William (Shawneen) Magrum, Jr. of Lodi, Scott Magrum of Gibsonburg, 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, sisters; Anna Rose Hinkle and Doris Magrum both of Oklahoma.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Mae (Nowak) Magrum whom he married Sep. 15, 1950 in Angola, IN, and 2 brothers; Harold and Jim Magrum.
Friends will be received Wednesday, Sep. 3, 2014 from 11:00 am until the funeral service begins at 1:00 pm at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy, Clyde. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
