Joseph "Gino" H. Jarvis Jr., 39, passed away early Sunday morning, August 31, 2014 at Elmwood at the Springs in Green Springs, following complications from injuries he sustained 4 years ago in a motorcycle accident.
Joe was born on October 6, 1974 in Alliance, OH. to Joseph Monroe and Margaret (Jarvis) Jones.
He was employed as a journeyman plasterer at the Local 866 out of Toledo, OH, before the accident. Joe enjoyed motorcycles, fishing, hunting, farming, country music, friends & family, but most importantly he was a die-hard Cleveland Browns fan.
Joe is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Carroll) Jarvis, whom he married on June 16, 2001. He is also survived by his 5 boys, Cory and Zachary Drury both of Huron, Joseph Jr., Mykel and Jonathan Jarvis, all of Bucyrus; grandchildren, Jazzlyn, Logan, Kendrick, Avya and Lilly; mother, Margaret (Jarvis) Jones; brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and numerous other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Monroe and maternal grandmother, Jane Sines.
Friends may call on Sunday September 21, from3-6 pm to celebrate Joe's Life at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky.
The celebration will continue from 6-10 pm at the Sandusky Eagles, Perkins Ave. If you loved Joe, we would love to see you there.
