Don J. Zeller, 53, of Sandusky, passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 in Stein Hospice Care Center.
He was on born November 3, 1960 in Toledo.
Don married Dawn R. Gorrell from West Virginia on August 1, 1987. He was employed by the Ohio Veterans Home until his retirement.
He was a loving husband and a devoted servant of Jehovah God. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, his focus was on helping others to develop a lasting
relationship with God. He spent many hours in the public ministry sharing with others the hope he himself firmly believed.
He was loved, admired, and respected by many for the effect he had on them. His smile, humor, non-complaining nature despite life-long health challenges, love for people, and perseverance to live life to the fullest endeared him to many and provided an example.
Don is survived by his wife of 27 years, Dawn; brothers, Rusty (Grace), Ken, and Dave (Linda); nephews, Gab and Andy; and nieces, Ona, Chloe, and Lauren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bill; step-mom, Carol; and birth mom, Bernice (Murphy) Watkins.
Friends will be received on Saturday, September 13 from 1:30 to 3 P.M. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 608 King St., Sandusky. A memorial service will be conducted at 3 P.M. by Don's brother, Rusty.
