David Aaron Daniels, 75, of Bellevue, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Monday evening, September 8, 2014 in the Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, Ohio surrounded by his family and friends.
He was born November 1, 1938 in Sandusky, Ohio to the late John and Eva V. (Russ) Daniels and was a lifelong area resident.
David was a graduate of Sandusky High School where he played football. He retired from Clevite Industrial of Milan, Ohio after 42 years of service. David was a 4-H advisor for 44 years with the Bronc Busters 4-H Club. He loved showing and trial riding horses with his wife and friends. David also enjoyed building and racing midget cars in the 1960's, and also enjoyed football and NASCAR.
He is survived by his wife, Janice (Francis) Daniels of Bellevue, Ohio, by his daughters, Jodie (Steve) Logan of New London, Ohio, Donna (Mike) White of Greenwich, Ohio, Joyce (Chester) Collins of Norwalk, Ohio, D'Lynn (Ben) Bisel of Shiloh, Ohio, by his sons, Chad (Tina) Hinckley of Norwalk, Ohio, and Jeremy (Alisha) Hinckley of New London, Ohio, by 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and by his brother and sister in law, Wayne and Betti Daniels of St. Augustine, Florida.
David was preceded in death by his daughter, Dianna Daniels.
Friends may call on Friday, September 12, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio, where funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Larry Nocella and Pastor Eric Robinson will officiate. A funeral luncheon will be held immediately following the service in the fellowship hall of the Norwalk First United Methodist Church, 60 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Food donations may be dropped off at the church between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 Noon.
