Ruth Moyer age 88 of Bellevue passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014 at the Willows at Bellevue.
She was born March 25, 1926 in Clyde the daughter of the late Oren & Azella (Babcock) Pocock.
Ruth was a homemaker, caregiver and babysitter.
She was a 1945 graduate of Thompson High School, and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
Ruth is survived by her daughters; Barb (Steve) Erf of Bellevue, Beverly (Pete) Dupont of New London, special niece; Valorie Oakley of St. Cloud, FL, step-son; Robert (Betty) Moyer of Bellevue, 6 grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren, 4 great- grandchildren, 9 step-grandchildren, 1 step-great granddaughter, step-daughter-in-law; Michelle Moyer, sister-in-laws; Evelyn Coup of Walbridge, Janice Hess of Bellevue and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Moyer whom she married October 29, 1960 St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Clyde brothers; Rollin, Russell, Harold, Oren, Jr., Kenneth Pocock, sister; Rachel Hill, step-daughter; Marjorie Moyer, step-son; Roger Moyer and step-daughter-in-law; Judy Moyer.
Friends will be received Friday, September, 19, 2014 from 4 - 7 pm at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire place and Saturday, 20, 2014 from 10:00 am until the funeral service begins at 11:00 am at St. John's Lutheran Church, 209 Southwest St., Bellevue, with Rev. Juli Lejman Guy officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery.
