Debra D. Goins, age 57, of Sandusky, died Sunday, September 14, 2014, at her residence following a lengthy illness.
She was born Oct. 8, 1956, in Sandusky, and was a 1975 graduate of Margaretta High School.
She enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, reading, spending time with her daughter Brenna and her dogs.
Debra is survived by her daughter Brenna K. Hultgren, and her fiancé Kalup Lyons, of Columbus; her sister Vicki D.(Eric) Weiss of Sandusky; niece Nicole K. (James) Fredrick of Anchorage, AK; nephew Matthew E. Zorn of Cincinnati; and many friends, including Piilani Swanson.
She was preceded in death by her parents Eldridge E. Goins and Carol M. Harkleroad, and step-father Cecil Harkleroad.
Friends may call from 10:00 AM Saturday, September 27, 2014, until time of a memorial service at 11:00 am. in the Ransom Funeral and Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia. The Rev. David Flack will officiate and burial will be in Castalia Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Erie County, 1911 Superior St., Sandusky, OH 44870.
