Kenneth H. "Kenny" Boehler, 93, died with his family by his side September 25, 2014.
Kenny was born December 5, 1920 in Monroeville to Walter and Cora Boehler.
Kenny was a school bus driver for Monroeville School Systems for 27 years. He was a farmer his entire life and he also was a 4H Leader for many years. Kenny was a life long member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Kenny is survived by his wife of 68 years, Maxine (Dillehay) Boehler; two sons, Donald (Theresa) Boehler, Fruitland Park, FL and Larry (Susan) Boehler, Monroeville; one daughter, Diane (Kenneth) Arnett, Bellevue; five grandchildren, Christine (Craig) Peters, Fruitland Park, FL; Kevin Boehler, Canton; Kyle Boehler, Pittsburg; Joshua (Bethany) Arnett, of Collins and Nichole of Ohio; fourteen great grandchildren, Jared, Triton, Patrick, Gavin, Ireand, Riley, Tyler, Trista, Toby, Tori, Bella, Chloe, Abbey and Aaron as well as many nieces and nephews.
Kenny was preceded in death by his daughter, Carol; his parents, Walter and Cora; one brother, Melvin and his sister, Doris.
Friends may call Sunday, September 28, 2014 from 4-8:00 PM at the Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe Street, Monroeville and Monday, from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM in the Trinity Lutheran Church, 121 Broad Street, Monroeville. The Rev. Dr. Amy C. Little will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Monroeville.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking memorial contributions be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Stein Hospice Service, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, Ohio 44870.
