Larry Nottke, 66, of Bellevue passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014 at The University of Toledo Medical Center.
He was born September 12, 1948 in Bellevue the son of Harold and Lois (Hager) Nottke who survive him in Bellevue.
Larry graduated from Bellevue Senior High School in 1966. He served in the United States Air Force in Anchorage, Alaska as a flight mechanic. He was then employed and retired as a Carman for Norfolk & Southern Railroad. He was a member of the Bellevue Eagles Aerie 490, VFW Post 1238, and NARVE. Larry enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, his monthly railroad retiree's breakfast, and his annual trip to Las Vegas. He was also an avid Toledo Rockets fan.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Deborah (Stark), whom he married on July 11, 1970 at Immaculate Conception Church, Bellevue; Four Sons: David of Toledo, Tim (Trina) of Toledo, Mark of Holland and Ryan (Bonnie) of Bellevue; One daughter, Andrea (Ryan) Hieber of Perrysburg; 3 grandchildren, Hunter and Savannah Nottke and Jack Hieber; One brother, Mike (Amy) Nottke of Bellevue; and his parents, Harold and Lois Nottke of Bellevue.
Friends will be received on Thursday, October 2, 2014 from 4-9 p.m. at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center St., Bellevue. Burial and military honors will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery.
Memorials can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or the Saints Football Program at Immaculate Conception.
