Sheila Bernice Kelley,73, residing in Huron, passed away early Thursday morning, October 23, 2014 at Stein Hospice Care Center after a lengthy illness.
Sheila was born on August 2, 1941 in Lowell, MA to the late Robert and Molly (Davidson) Ryan.
Sheila was a member of Huron Yacht Club Ladies Auxiliary and Huron Eagles Auxiliary. In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping, boating the Great Lakes, traveling to Europe and spending time at her cabin in the mountains of Pennsylvania. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Sheila is survived by her husband, Daniel P. Kelley, whom she married on June 1, 1963; four children, Daniel M. Kelley of Dennison, OH, Michael P. (Julie) Kelley, Michelle A. Galvin and Kevin J. Kelley, all of Huron, OH; five grandchildren, Connor, Liam, Molly, Megan and Mikey; one sister, Agnes Wojcukiewicz; four brothers, Donald, Thomas, William (Shirley) and Michael (Margarette) Ryan; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Sheila is preceded in death by her brothers, Robert and Edward Ryan; and sisters, Maureen Moldoch and Barbara Silva.
Friends may call Sunday, October 26, 2014 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Prayers will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 am on Monday, October 27, 2014 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at St. Peter Catholic Church, 430 Main Street, Huron with Father Jerry Ceranowski presiding. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron, OH.
