Ott Berry, 83, residing in Sandusky, passed away early Sunday morning, November 2, 2014 at Fisher Titus Medical Center after a brief illness.
Ott was born on June 10, 1931 in Claibourn County, TN to the late Tommy and Hassia (Lasliy) Berry.
Ott was employed at Ford Motor Company for 39 years before retiring in 1991. In his spare time, he enjoyed racing, hunting, fishing, country music and spending time with his family and friends.
Ott is survived by his sons, Ronald (Sara) Berry and Gary (Scarlett) Berry; daughter-in-law, Claudia "Wendy" Berry; grandchildren, Melissa (Jason), Brian (Jordan), Eric (Jenna), Curtis (Andrea) and Bejamin (Katie); great-grandchildren, Scout, Natalie, Liam and Carmen; sister, Siehl Guy and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, Ott is preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Berry on September 27, 2014; son, Bobby Berry; seven brothers and five sisters.
Friends may call on Thursday, November 6, 2014 from 9 AM until the time of services at 11AM at the Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. The Rev. Judy Sommers will officiate. Burial will follow in Milan Cemetery, Milan, OH.
