Linda M. (Orshoski) Gruhlke, 69, of Norwalk, passed away peacefully early Thursday morning, November 6, 2014 in Twilight Gardens Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.
She was born on April 28, 1945 in Shenango, Penn. to the late Andrew and Mary (Clark) Orshoski, and graduated from Margaretta High School.
Linda loved to knit and play cards and BINGO. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who was absolutely devoted to her family. She adored her grandchildren and her pet dogs.
Linda is survived by her husband of nearly 37 years, Arlin Gruhlke, whom she married on December 23, 1977; son, William (Brooke) Gruhlke, of Norwalk; grandchildren, Logan, Shyla, and Alyssa; brother-in-law, Marvin "Uncle" Gruhlke; and many friends and relatives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Homler, in 2010, and siblings.
Friends may call from 2-5 P.M. on Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will be at 11 A.M. at the funeral home on Monday. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky. All in attendance are welcome to join the family in the Toft Event Room immediately following the cemetery service.
