Eleanor R. Darling, 86, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2014 in Gaymont Nursing Center.
She was born October 19, 1928 in Sandusky, Ohio to the late Arden H. and Mary A. (Albertsburg) Cole and lived in this area most of his life.
Eleanor was a volunteer at Fisher-Titus Medical Center, Norwalk, Ohio for several years. She enjoyed gardening and crafts.
Eleanor is survived by her daughters, Sandy A. Byron of Norwalk, Ohio, Deb A. Scott of Largo, Florida, and Roberta Olds of Norwalk, Ohio, by 5 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Nadine Brozovich of Grand Junction, Colorado, and Greta Detro of Largo, Florida.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie J. Darling in 1999, and by her sister, Dorothea Tolfree. Memorial services will be private. Inurnment will be in Clarksfield Methodist Cemetery.
