Stephanie R. Kemper, 53, of Monroeville passed away Wednesday morning, November 12, 2014 at her residence following a brief illness.
She was born February 10, 1961 in Downey, CA and had lived in Monroeville for the past 25 years.
She was employed by the North Central EMS and Firelands Regional Medical Center in the emergency room.
She was a member of the Huron River Joint Fire District for the past 18 years and was a medical instructor for the sea cadets. Stephanie was a true hero, giving to others and saving many lives. She loved being a mother, enjoyed roller skating, bowling, traveling to Florida and going on cruises.
She is survived by one daughter, Kristin E. Kemper, Monroeville; one son, Douglas R. Kemper, Jr., Monroeville; mother and stepfather, Yvonne and Rev. J. Dennis Henkle, Monroeville; one brother, Robert S. Worstall, Flat Rock, Ohio; two sisters, Tanja N. (James) Wechter, Sandusky and Jillian J. (Richard) Ahrens, Twinsburg, Ohio; niece, Desiree' N. Worstall; nephew, Robert M. Worstall; special friends, Chad and Billie Jo Welter, Monroeville and John and Jocelyn Welter, Monroeville and her "furry" grandkids, Lilly, Baliey and Bella.
Friends may call from 3-8:00 PM Sunday, November 16, 2014 at the Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe Street, Monroeville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, November 17, 2014 in the St. Joseph Church, 66 Chapel Street, Monroeville. Father John Jorden will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Monroeville.
