Glenn Gaag

Glenn Gaag, 81, of Norwalk, Ohio, died Thursday, December 4, 2014, in the Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, Ohio.

He was born January 8, 1933 in Norwalk, Ohio to the late George F. and Luenna (Grizenbach) Gaag.

He worked for Norwalk Truck Line, and retired from Yellow Freight in 1994. Glenn was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving from 1952 to 1954. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

Glenn is survived by his wife of 63 years, Pearl (DeLamater) Gaag of Norwalk, Ohio, by his son and daughter in law, Glenn and Phyllis Gaag II of Long Island, New York, by his son in law, Ed Coy of North Fairfield, Ohio, by his grandchildren, Jennifer Passarella, Christene Friskney, Erin (Billy) Webb, Eddie (Missy) Coy, Joseph (Devon) Ponticello, and Holly (Joseph) Spinelli, and by his great grandchildren, Ethan, Lindsey, Jake, Luke, Nicholas, Hunter, Anthony, and Thomas. He is also survived by his siblings, Dick Doney and Irene DeLamater.

Glenn was preceded in death by his daughter, Carol Coy, and by his brother, Carl Doney.

There will be no calling hours or service. Memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice Service, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, Ohio 44870.
