Elva M. (McConkey) Bauer, age 92, passed away Friday, December 12, 2014.
She, along with her husband, Donald, developed and operated Valley Beach Park. She was a member of the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and the Alter and Rosary Society.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Paul) Lindenberger of Norwalk; grandchildren, Brad Maitland and Sara Sattler of Monroeville, Amy Long of Centennial, Co., and Kelly Long of North Ridgeville; sister, Betty Mirtes of Norwalk; sister-in-law, Felecia (Bill) Stang of Monroeville; three great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Friends may call on Sunday, Dec. 14, 2014 from 2 to 4 pm. at Walker Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk, Ohio.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, Dec. 15, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 1322 Settlement Rd., Norwalk, Ohio. Father William Pifher will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
